Dawn Hinkle: President (26/27)
Hi! I’m Dawn, a local Realtor in Huntley, IL, and a mom to two beautiful children. I’m honored to serve as the PTA President and love being part of the experiences that make elementary school so special.
My favorite event to lead is the Leggee Variety Show. I love seeing the pride and excitement on the students’ faces as they step onto the stage and showcase their individual talents. It’s such a great reminder that every child has something special to share, and I’m proud to help create opportunities where they can shine.
Natalia Lupa: Vice President (26/27)
Hi! I’m Natalia and I’m excited to serve as Vice President and Social Media Manager this year. I enjoy helping create opportunities that bring students, families, and our school together and making sure families feel informed and connected. Fun Fact: all three of the kids are at Leggee this year.
I’m passionate about creating educational opportunities beyond the classroom and textbooks. I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens through experiences, relationships, leadership, creativity, and being part of something bigger than yourself - that’s why I am also chair to community and assemblies. I’m proud to support a school that helps provide those opportunities for our students.
Outside of the PTA, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my kids at their activities (Huntley Football and Force Soccer), and finding ways to make the most of the busy, fun years of raising a family. I’m looking forward to another great school year and everything we can accomplish together!
Seeking someone to fill the Treasurer role (26/27)
We’re looking for a parent or caregiver to join our PTA Executive Committee as Treasurer for the upcoming school year!
Treasurer Responsibilities:

* Keep simple financial records
* Pay approved expenses and reimbursements
* Provide financial updates at monthly PTA meetings
Bookkeeping knowledge is recommended, but NOT required! We’ll help you get started, and support is available throughout the year.
Perfect for a parent or caregiver who wants to make a meaningful impact while giving just a few hours each month.
Help support the students, staff, and families of Leggee Elementary by serving on our amazing PTA team!
Interested or have questions? Send us a message on the Leggee PTA Facebook page or email info@leggeePTA.com.
Witnee Don: Secretary (26/27)
Hello! My name is Witnee Don and I’m thrilled to serve as the new PTA Secretary this year. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication with a minor in Organizational Leadership. Professionally, I’ve worked in marketing for Sears Holdings, supporting the footwear and apparel departments, and I also have experience in administrative work and bookkeeping.
While I’ve enjoyed my professional career, becoming a stay-at-home mom has been the most rewarding role of all. I have two children at Leggee - one entering 4th grade and the other entering 2nd grade - and being actively involved in their lives inspired me to take on this opportunity to serve our school community.
Our family is also a proud police family, and our K-9 police dog, who lives with us, definitely keeps life interesting and feels like our third child! In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, gardening, cooking, spending time outdoors, and making the most of every day.
As PTA Secretary, my goal is to help create a fun, welcoming, and memorable school year for our students, teachers, and families. I look forward to working alongside this amazing community and making a positive impact together!
